Introduction

Mentha viridis, also known as green mint and wild mint, is a spice and a medicinal herb with extremely high economic value. The extracted mentha viridis (spearmint) essential oil is a common additive in cleaning products and daily chemical products. The main component of the essential oil is L-carvone which can alleviate such problems as skin itching and acne.
